Poppa Cap Guns and Stuff LLC is a federally licensed dealer. How an order ships depends on whether it contains a firearm.

In-store pickup

Pickup at 2204 W. Engel Rd, West Branch MI 48661 is free. Bring a government-issued photo ID. Firearm pickups also require ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check completed in the store before you can take the firearm.

Optics, ammunition, and accessories

These items ship to the address you enter at checkout. The flat rate is $15.00 per order. We will contact you if a heavy or oversized order costs more than that flat rate before we charge the difference.

Firearms

Federal law prohibits us from shipping a firearm to an individual. Firearm orders ship only to a licensed FFL dealer you name at checkout, or you can pick the firearm up here. The flat rate to ship an order that includes a firearm to your FFL is $35.00.

Enter the receiving dealer's name, license number, phone, and address when you check out. We confirm a signed copy of that dealer's FFL before the firearm leaves our shop. You complete Form 4473 and the background check with that dealer when you collect it.

If your cart mixes a firearm with ammunition, optics, or accessories, the whole order ships to that FFL.

Sales tax

Michigan sales tax of 6% is added to in-store pickup orders and to orders delivered to a Michigan address, including an FFL in Michigan. Orders shipped to an address outside Michigan are not charged Michigan sales tax at checkout.

When it leaves the shop

We ship after payment is approved and, for firearms, after the receiving FFL is verified. Call (989) 390-7800 if you need a status update. Auction lots follow the auction terms, and the buyer pays actual shipping on those lots.
