Poppa Cap Guns and Stuff LLC ("we") uses the information you give us to fill orders, complete legal firearm transfers, and tell you when auctions open. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Contact details you type at checkout or on the auction interest form: name, email, and phone.
- Billing address, shipping address, and, when an order includes a firearm, the receiving FFL dealer's name, license number, phone, email, and address.
- What you bought, the amount paid, and any note you add to the order.
- Payment result from Authorize.net: card brand, last four digits, and transaction ID. Your full card number and security code go directly to Authorize.net and are not stored on our servers.
- A staff sign-in cookie used only by the inventory manager. It is not used to track shoppers.
How we use it
- To take payment, pack or transfer your order, and contact you about that order.
- To meet federal and Michigan firearms requirements, including FFL-to-FFL transfers and the records those transfers require.
- To email or call people who asked to hear when auction lots go live.
- To understand which pages are visited, using Vercel Web Analytics. That count does not include your name or a profile we sell to advertisers.
Who else sees it
Authorize.net processes the card payment. The site is hosted on Vercel, and order and interest records are stored in our database. A firearm shipment is shared with the FFL dealer you chose so they can receive it. We also disclose information when the law requires it, including to ATF or law enforcement for a lawful request tied to a firearm transfer.
How long we keep it
Order and firearm-transfer records are kept for as long as federal firearms rules and our bookkeeping require. Auction interest entries stay until you ask us to remove them or until we no longer need them to announce auctions.
Your choices
Call (989) 390-7800 to ask what we have on file, to correct it, or to be removed from the auction interest list. Firearm transfer records that the law requires us to keep cannot be deleted on request. You can also read how orders move in the shipping policy.
