Poppa Cap Guns and Stuff LLC is a federally licensed dealer at 2204 West Engel Rd, West Branch, MI. Every firearm transfer goes through our shop, with the background check federal law requires.

Buying from us

Pick the firearm up in the store, or we ship it to another licensed dealer near you. We do not ship firearms to a home. Optics, ammunition, and accessories can ship to you. See the shipping policy for rates.

A transfer from another dealer

If you bought a firearm somewhere else and need it sent here:

• Call us at (989) 390-7800 before the other dealer ships.
• We will confirm we can receive it and send our license information.
• When it arrives, you come in, we run the background check, and you take it home if the transfer is approved.

Ask us for the transfer fee when you call. It depends on the firearm.

What to bring

A valid government photo ID, and any Michigan permit the transfer requires. You must be legally allowed to buy and possess the firearm.
